Eternal Destiny Of The Present Moment

Be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity. 1 Timothy 4:12

O My child, it is not appointed to you to know the future, nor to be able to discern beforehand My exact plans. It is enough that we should walk together in love and trust. No doubts need mar your peace, nor anxieties cloud your brow. Rest in the knowledge that My ways are perfect and My grace all-sufficient. You will find My help is adequate, no matter what may befall you.

Let no one say to you, "this will be, or that will surely come to pass." Live, rather, in the awareness of the eternal destiny of the present moment. To be unduly occupied with matters of the future is to your own disadvantage. So much is waiting to be done now.

It is written: "Till I come, give attention to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine" (1 Timothy 4:13). Live according to this injunction. Your life is in My hands. I can only use what is available to Me at the moment. Others need guidance and help with their present problems. Minister in the realm of here and now, and you will have much fruit in the day of reaping.

FireStorm2012

A word of encouragement to Christians in New England from our Christian band Final Fire.

It's time for a FireStorm to sweep through New England in 2012. As we look over the spiritual landscape of America we can see that New England is a dark place. Just take a look at the touring schedules of popular Christian bands, musicians and speakers. Not many coming to New England in comparison to the rest of the country. It has gotten a little better in the last few years. We have the big Soul Fest Christian music festival every summer in New Hampshire. And a few of the nationally popular Christian artists and speakers do venture up this way once in a while. But we need not lament, we have an abundance of home grown Christian artists and musicians all over New England to draw upon.

Along with the spiritual darkness here in New England, it's also very dry. New England is a virtual tinderbox on the verge of a major firestorm of revival. Many here in Massachusetts have spoken of and received prophetic direction that this firestorm of revival will spark up right here in Massachusetts and spread out across the land. Many of the churches in our region are stoking the coals of revival through prayer, worship and declaration of the Word. Calling for an out pouring of God's Holy Spirit.

We want to encourage the Body of Christ here in New England to be Holy Ghost arsonists. Empowered by the Spirit of God to light the fires of revival. There is and intense hunger and thirst in our land for a true experience with God. The ravages and deceptions of Humanism and Intellectualism have prepared many for the life giving transfusion that Jesus Christ offers. The power of God can break out again here in Massachusetts and New England like it did in the Great Awakening. The course of our national history was altered by the revival known as the Great Awakening. God is calling us to be His-Story makers right now.

The Pilgrims landed here in Plymouth as His-Story makers and laid down a legacy that our enemy despises. We believe this is why there is such darkness over New England. But the Light destroys the darkness. And we've all been called out now to be the torch bearers in this present assault on the darkness. As musicians and artists we believe that Christian music and the arts are powerful weapons for spiritual warfare. Worship is warfare because the enemy hates it when we worship. And there is awesome creative power available when we worship because the Lord inhabits the praises of His people. Worship is not just what we do on Sunday morning. Every creative activity we engage in is a form of worship.

All through the Bible we see the creative power of the arts, music and the Word to alter the atmosphere. Walls come down, demons flee and enemies are defeated. Let us all come together as worship warriors and alter the atmosphere over New England and ignite a revival that will sweep our land. Let us sponsor, promote and attend as many Christian coffee houses, worship services, concerts, theater, art shows, arts festivals, and music and dance ministry events as we can. Sponsor Christian film, poetry and literature presentations. Encourage Christian artists, writers, dancers and musicians to pursue the call of God on their lives.

We serve a creative God. In the Bible He's called the Potter, an artisan. In the beginning He said, "Let us create". He calls us to be creative vessels for the use of the Holy Spirit as He continues to pour out His creative power on the earth. We can and must affect and alter our culture.

As Christian musicians we have found an awesome online community for creative Christians. It is called The Agape Vine. It is an online community where creative Christians from all over New England can come together and work together. We can share our art, music, dance, theater, literature, events, festivals and presentations for the Glory of God.

Time waits for no one, God waits for everyone. The firestorm of revival is coming.
